I am currently editing away all the work from the end of last year. Looking back all I can say is, wow! What an exciting and fun year it has been. I would have to thank all the wonderful brides I had a pleasure working with. The following is an eSession I shot in the fall. Its been a while but I finally got around to finishing up some work from the fall. The following couple Heather & Richard recently got engaged and asked me to do some engagement pictures. Richard is a good friend of mine and I am glad they both trusted me to photograph this special moment in their life. We decided to take some pictures in the fall and what a perfect day it turned out to be. The colors on the trees were just right. I had a lot of fun taking pictures of this great couple. Finally the new and improved website has been launched. I had been working on the new site for quite sometime now and am very happy to finally release it. I am sure everyone will like this new site. Also some might have noticed there isn’t any Hugs & Kisses pics on the main blog page. They have actually been moved to better organize the blog. On the top menu you can click “Pages” and then choose “Hugs & kisses” to see them. I will post new ones on the main page and then move them to their dedicated page once another new one is posted. With all the Hugs & Kisses posts some of you might have wondered where the weddings went. Do not fear there is more wedding & eShoot posts coming in the future.
Shailaja and Ramana were a very energetic and fun couple from the first day they came by to see me. Just from talking to them you can tell their passion for life and each other. Over the past year we have become good friends and its nice to be able to build these relationships with clients. When Mayavee Photography opened up I wanted it to be a boutique studio where friendships are formed and I am very happy to see this happening. Shailaja & Ramana’s wedding was at the beautiful Shri Swaminarayan Hindu Temple and the following day was their reception. Well, I am excited to reveal to everyone what I have been working on at the studio lately. Its my pleasure to introduce to everyone “Hugs” & “Kisses”. All the hints and pictures will make sense now that you have seen the reveal.
So what is this all about? Well, this gives me an opportunity to explore other areas of photography while keeping the blog fun and lively. The blog will be updated more often maybe everyday or every other day with pictures of Hugs & Kisses. Everyone will get to follow them in their adventures as they explore the beauty of this world. They might even be visiting the weddings. If you are wondering who is who. Hugs is the big one and Kisses is the small one with the decals.
What’s so special about Hugs & Kisses you may ask. They’re a simply designed very popular figure from Japan. Even though the design and movements are simple, somehow they seem to evoke emotion and express feelings when photographed. The other reason for choosing them is that, they are boxes. Mayavee photography is all about thinking outside the box and being creative while taking great pictures. Since everyone will be seeing them quite often on the blog they needed to have appeal. Which I think they have a lot of. So these character’s seem best to represent Mayavee Photography.
As a treat to the blog readers every post from their adventure will be accompanied by a high resolution wallpaper which you can download and use on your computer. Share them among your friends and family. It will be downloadable in two flavors. Normal and Widescreen versions. So no matter what monitor you have it will work.

Trick or Treat!! Happy Halloween!!
Well everyone is very anxious and curious to what it is that was posted on my arrival post. This project is going to be very exciting and fun for everyone. Before I get to the wedding I know a lot of people have been curious about the arrival blog post. I will update some more info and pictures about it within a day or two. Now on to the wedding.
Wow what a gorgeous couple both Fatema and Muzammil are. Everyone might remember this couple from earlier posts and finally their big day arrived. It was my first official Muslim wedding and I have to thank them both for having the confidence and giving me this great honor. I enjoyed the wedding so much and both family’s welcomed us with open arms. Everyone was extremely nice and made us feel at home. This is definitely one wedding we will never forget. Enjoy this small sample of their special day.

Wow, what a crazy few weeks it has been. I thought from my last post everything will be fine and I’ll be blogging as usual every Thursday. Boy was I wrong. I had decided to do a lot of Reno and setup a studio before I moved into the new house. The Reno’s took unexpected turns and delays, and left me stranded. I was left without any access to my computers or internet till now. Well long story short, everything is back in order now and completed. As I have said before I shall be blogging regularly now every Thursday. I also have something special that I will reveal very soon and will appear regularly on the blog. Definitely keep an eye out for it.
